MFE Focuses on Franchising and IP Licensing, with Talks on the First-Store Economy and Traditional Business Transformation

The Macao International Franchise Expo 2026 (2026 MFE) opened on 21 October 2026 and is free to the public from 22 October 2026 through 24 October at the Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao, welcoming visitors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Centred on the “Brand Research Institute”, this year’s event combines an exhibition, business matchmaking and forums, focusing on brand cooperation and franchise opportunities. [1][2][3]

According to the official introduction, the exhibition has four major sections: the “Bakery R&D Club”, “Coffee Market”, “Tasteful Living Club” and “IP Licensing Trendy Toys Club”. They cover food and beverage, new consumer products, original IP, and cultural and creative trendy toys, providing a platform for brands to connect with channel resources. [1]

According to the event schedule, 22 October 2026 includes a franchise matchmaking session, a briefing on the “Plan to Support the Development of Macao’s First-Store Economy”, and a specialised intellectual-property lecture, as well as a special session for cross-sector IP licensing and business cooperation matchmaking. The afternoon forum on “Macao’s Distinctive Long-Established Stores” focuses on brand revitalisation and the application of artificial intelligence. If arrangements change, the latest announcements by the organisers shall prevail. [3]
