31st MIF Opens to the Public as Three Macao Fairs Expand International Business Opportunities

The 31st Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) opens free to the public on 22 October 2026 and runs through 24 October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao. With “Business in Macao, Connecting the World” as its theme, this year’s fair is being held concurrently with the 2026 Portuguese-Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) and the Macao International Franchise Expo 2026. According to an opening announcement issued on 21 October by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, the three shows have brought together exhibitors, professional buyers and expert speakers from 55 countries and regions, alongside more than 90 forums, matchmaking sessions and inspection activities. Nine cooperation projects were signed at the opening ceremony, while 74 signing projects were scheduled across the three shows on their first day. This year’s MIF has also introduced a “Spanish-Speaking Countries Industry Pavilion” for the first time, expanding cross-market business exchanges. [3]

The event schedule lists topics for 22 October 2026, including cooperation in agricultural industry chains between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, the health and wellness industry, and cross-border e-commerce, as well as product presentations and business matchmaking for Portuguese-speaking countries. The actual arrangements are subject to the latest announcements by the organisers. [2]
